Came across this photo....
of Jane Seymour and Freddie Mercury...
Definitely a wedding look that Danny and I should consider... I cannot get over that insane flower crown and that fact that he doesn't have a shirt on under that jacket!
Its kind-of fabulous!

I love her!
I was browsing etsy (I'm insane over wedding ideas now that I got me a ring!) and I came across a story of a DIYish wedding that I fell in love with... It was the story of Golriz and Devon... an adorable, worldy couple who now reside in LA. After browsing their pictures and watching their incredibly endearing video, I checked out her blog. AWESOME! She is extremely creative and just plain fun. New fav.
Check her out:

Golriz and Devon have a website called Soul Pancake that they describe as: a place to speak your mind, unload your questions, and figure out what it means to be human.
Really interesting. I am definitely gonna buy their book... Go here to check it out!

Obamakin...
So... a hanger and mannequin catalog came to the store featuring:
Obamakin... a 'lifelike replica of our President'.
Seriously??? Who buys that and for what purpose?
I guess the good news is that if you buy 6 of them they are $10 cheaper... what??? 6 Obamakins? I am very confused.
On a side note, the kids mannequins are soooo creepy.
Check out the one on the far right. Yikes.

Luna Moths.....
Mem Day weekend was spent with our great friends in Woodstock, VT... every time we go up there we hope to see the Luna Moths, which seem to flock to our friends' yard. This particular night there was five of them at once. It was very cool...
Silly, rowdy video... but a really neat site to see...
Our last trip up there, one of them got in the house and I took some close up photos of it. They really show how amazing these moths are. Here's a few...
Just to top off my geeky science post, I also found a Luna Moth caterpillar in Lake George last summer and took some photos of that too...
Now you know.

NationalGeographic.com
A few months ago, Danny submitted a photo to a contest NatGeo was having... The story was on 'America's Best Adventures' (perfect for Danny) and called for photos of places in America.
Danny submitted a photo he took of Jeremy in Buckskin Gulch in Utah when they were backpacking.
Today... VOILA!
Not only did they choose Danny's photo to be part of the story, but his photo was on the homepage as the COVER to the story!
I am so proud of Danny.... out of thousands of submissions they picked him! Yay!
Here's the picture in the story with Danny's comments...

"15. Arizona/Utah: Hike Buckskin Gulch
After telling tales of the Utah canyon country for years, I was finally able to recruit a few friends to embrace the life-changing experience that fills your soul after visiting such a place! We acquired the last permit to hike Buckskin Gulch, where the photo was taken."
